All facility and equipment requests are processed through Ellen Woodard, our Administrative Assistant. If you have any questions about our policies, available spaces or equipment, please call the St. John’s office at 989-631-2260 or email Ellen at the parish office.

FAQs
What are the office hours at the church?
The parish office is open for in-person business Monday through Thursday, 9:00 am – 3:00 pm and Friday, 9:00 am – noon. The main phone and email are monitored during these hours. You may call the office at (989) 631-2260 or visit our page for clergy and parish staff to contact a St. John’s staff member directly.
I have a pastoral care emergency, what do I do?
Contact St. John’s Rector, Alyssa Anderson, by calling our parish office at (989) 631-2260 or by emailing rector@sjec-midland.org.
When are worship services?
Sunday mornings at 8:00 am and 10:00 am, and Wednesdays at noon. For more information on worship at St. John’s Episcopal Church, please see the Visitor section of our website.
What is available for children?
We offer nursery care, privacy rocking chairs, and worship bags for in-church activities for the youngest in our pews. Throughout the school year, we aim to engage youth through community events along with formation classes.
How do I get involved?

How do I post an announcement in the Sunday bulletin, newsletter or website?
Call our office at (989) 631-2260 or email us . There are normally no concerns with submissions but if we are unable to post your content (text, photos, etc.), we’ll let you know.
I’m not familiar with some of the terms used in church, can I get a little help?
Absolutely! The Episcopal Church site has a comprehensive glossary page and you’re always welcome to ask our clergy about things referenced in church.
